TosBorn and raised in Alabama, USA, she moved as a teenager to Las Vegas, where she grew up in the middle of a strong Gospel background, her father being a preacher and her mother a Gospel singer.
She later studied music at the Academy Music School of Hollywood in Los Angeles.
As many other Gospel singers, she has also been working in the field of commercial music, and has collaborated with artists such as B.B. King or Marvin Gay, performing in some of the top venues in Las Vegas (Caesar’s Palace, Mirage, Golden Nugget) and Los Angeles (Roxy).
In the 90’s she moved to Spain, where she has been residing and performing with her own groups and as a special guest of the best established local bands.
An extremely energetic singer with a very powerful voice, Kathy Autrey is also a first class entertainer with a tremendous stage presence.
